Does this work well for Fiction?

Viewed 9

I've watched a bit of some folks on YouTube about these programs, and it seems the whole "keyword" thing works well if you're writing a self-help, instructional or lifestyle type book, but I'm trying to understand how it could work with fiction. Let's say I was writing SciFi or Fantasy, as an example. Changing the title or subtitle to "popular" words doesn't seem like a smart or even viable strategy. I mean, if you're writing a fictional story in the fantasy genre, you'd naturally pick a title that worked for your book.

I'm also speaking strictly high original content here, over 100k words.

How could this assist? I'm genuinely baffled and would love for someone to share some wisdom that doesn't ring like a sales pitch.

Respectfully,

C

We have not done fiction but every book listing on Amazon has 7 backend keywords where you want to put your best keywords in. In some cases maybe you can even have some in your sub-title for fiction.

Also having the right keywords can be very important when doing Amazon ads with a keywords campaign.
